Vintage borderless publicity photograph from the 1968 Western film, showing actor Pat Hingle. Annotations in manuscript pencil and provenance stamps on the verso. A former marshal is lynched after being falsely accused of murder, but he is rescued, and begins a hunt for the men who attempted to kill him. Clint Eastwood's first American Western, modeled after his previous "Man With No Name" European avengers, and only nominally directed by Ted Post. Set in the American Southwest, shot on location in New Mexico. 7.25 x 9.25 inches. Very Good plus, with light wear to the finish in two spots. Pitts 1769.

When electronics expert Jim Molnar (James Mason) sees a news broadcast about an airplane bomb threat he realizes he had been tricked into making the bombs by his ex-Army buddy Paul Hoplin (Rod Steiger). As Hoplin tries to extort a half a million dollars from the airlines, Hoplin kidnaps and holds Molnar, his wife Joan (Inger Stevens) and their daughter hostage. Hoplin forces Joan to collect the money, escorted by thug and predator Steve (Neville Brand). An amazing cast rounded out with the help of Angie Dickinson and Jack Klugman. Three vintage French lobby cards from the 1959 film. Based on the 1901 novel "The Purple Cloud" by M. P. Shiel and the 1951 short story "End of the World" by Ferdinand Reyher. Harry Belafonte is a mine inspector who becomes trapped in an underground collapse. Upon digging his way out he finds the world deserted, and sets out to find other survivors. Set in Pennsylvania and New York, shot on location in New York, New Jersey and California. 11.75 x 9.25 inches. Very Good plus, faint edgewear, two with pinholes in margins, one with single pinhole with light rust staining, top center of image.

Full-color illustrated pocketed folder, containing 16 black and white photographs, and 5 gatherings of promotional reading material. Based on M.P. Shiel's 1901 novel "The Purple Cloud." A miner trapped in a cave for several days resurfaces, only to realize humankind has been virtually wiped out in a nuclear holocaust. He travels to New York, where he bands together with a young woman survivor, but their fragile existence is soon disrupted by the arrival of another survivor.
