Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Exposition Press, New York. 1972. 181 pages. First edition stated, first printing. Book is about fine; bright, tight and clean. Binding and hinges are strong and sound. Pages and endpapers are clean. A previous owner's bookplate is adhered to the front pastedown underneath the front flap of DJ. Bookplate has name blacked-out. Original dust jacket with $6.00 price intact on flap. DJ shows a couple of small closed edge tears and rubs. A tight, bright and clean first printing of the book that scrutinizes the mysterious last flight of the aviatrix, separating myth from reality. Near fine/VG+.
