Condition: FAIR. 1865. Original binding. Cloth hardcover. Frontispiece. Decorative half-title. 394 of 396pp (two rear pages missing). FAIR. Binding sound but lightly shaken. Textblock appears clean with minor foxing. Significant wear to extremities with spine strip attached but split to both sides.

Previous owner's name and address in pencil on ffep. Some notes and underlining of text in pencil. Black and white frontis has partial tissue guard. Some light spotting. Two pages at end of book list other publications by publisher. 422 pp.
