The spine strip's ends, the top ends of the joints, and 1 1/4 in. of a board edge are frayed; the boards' front corners are less so. The last page(s) is missing, which was either blank or an ad. 7 pages have large stains, mostly on the margins; several other pages have a small stain, and several have a crease line on the top corner.
