One of the most sought after of the New Jersey Tercentenary historical series, a survey of accounts of descriptions of the colony/state by visitors from 1676 through 1962. Many of the visitors received their impressions traveling from New York to Philadelphia (or vice versa) while others were journeying to scenic spots like Passaic Falls, the Delaware Water Gap or the Atlantic Ocean, visiting the state's utopian community or even visiting king-in-exile Joseph Bonaparte in Bordentown.
