Small spot of paint in upper spine, and three small splotches on front board, but no evidence of staining within volume. Binding tight, spine straight, corners solid. Pages bright and clean, unmarked, both text block and visual elements. Sutton's book is considered, "the standard text on the basic technology, performance and design rationale of rocket propulsion." He was Engineering Section Chief of Rocketdyne, a division of North American Aviation, and an instructor at the University of California's University Extension.
