Jacket is age-toned with sunned spine and a few short strips of cellophane tape re-enforcements on inside panels. Preserved in a removable Brodart sleeve. Volume VIII contains Swift's most considered reflections on the events of 1710-1714 and their aftermath. Several of the pieces are printed from manuscripts in the collection of Lord Rothchild.

Condition: Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A good condition book. Light shelf wear and a sticker on the front board. A small crack in the top of the hinge beside the front cover makes it slightly loose. Occasional annotations in pencil, otherwise internal contents are clear and pleasantly bright.
