Very minor shelf wear to covers, corners gently bumped, illustration lightly tarnished. Exterior otherwise neat, unmarred. No date on title page or copyright page. 332 pages. This edition adapted for young readers by W.B. Scott. Features illustrations, both B&W and full color throughout text by A.E. Jackson. Former owner's name written neatly on front attached endpaper, pages otherwise clean and bright, still glossy. Undated reprint, hardcover in red cloth with bevel edged boards, the binding is shaken with some light cracks starting, but continues to hold throughout. The book also has bumps with very small losses and a bit of fraying to the cloth at the spine ends and corners, sunning to the spine and head with lighter toning to the cover edges, rubbing with dulling and some light stains and smudges to the covers, and a touch of foxing to some pages. Overall, this is a solid, Good+ copy wrapped in a protective acetate jacket.

London: Ernest Nister Classic story of Gulliver, adapted for the young by W B Scott and illustrated with beautiful full colour chromo lithographs by A E Jackson. 332 pages with 6 full colour illustrations, 12 full page B/w illustrations plus many others smaller illustrations in the text. Book is overall bright and clean just a little foxing to back of some plates, not to plates themselves. One page has small piece torn from bottom right corner 2.5 cms tall with a base of 1.5 cms tapering up. Neat previous owners details on half title page dated 1914 this is the only date in the book. Edges of pages are all edges gilt, which is a little worn especially at top. Gold embossed red cloth covered boards, very lightly rubbed on edges, little faded on spine and gold also faded on spine, gold bright on front.
