Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. pp: 216. Sinclair led an interesting life. This book is his account of a trip by car he took in 1926 to some difficult, and contentious parts of the Middle East. He travelled under an assumed name, as during The First World War, he was working for British Military Intelligence under his real name of Teague-Jones. And, for years after he lived under his assumed name of Sinclair. It was not until just before his death that his travelogue was published. No doubt, he was still working for Military Intelligence during his travels. Was he spying? This is a near fine copy of the first edition in a dust jacket with light sunning on the spine.

Octavo softcover (VG); all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable. They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Ordering more than one book will reduce your overall postage costs.
