Terechkovich (illustrator). An impressive association copy of a gorgeous livre de peintre, illustrated with 14 ORIGINAL COLOR LITHOGRAPHS BY TERECHKOVITCH. Edition limited to 150 copies. THIS IS A SPECIAL COPY RESERVED FOR THE ARTIST, WITH A SIGNED PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION FROM MAURICE DE GOUDEKET (1889-1977, Colette's third and last husband, 16 years her junior) TO ALEXIS DE REDÉ (Oskar Dieter Alex von Rosenberg-Redé, 3rd Baron von Rosenberg-Redé, 1922-2004), a gay Jewish nobleman celebrated by Parisian high society (and a friend of Colette's.) Large folio. Loose as issued in original wraps, with a color lithograph on the front cover. FINE AND BRIGHT, WITH NO DEFECTS, in the publisher's very luxurious satin folding case (case a bit stained). Terechkovich's masterpiece, and quite rare.
