Contattare la libreria per ulteriori immagini o informazioni -- Da molti considerata «la rivista più bella del mondo», Verve fu fondata nel 1937 a Parigi dal critico d'arte Tériade (pseudonimo del greco Stratis Eleftheriadis). Pubblicò 26 numeri (singoli e doppi) tra il 1937 e il 1960, stampati principalmente presso la tipografia Draeger e corredati da litografie realizzate da Fernand Mourlot. Sottotitolata «rivista artistica e letteraria che esce quattro volte all'anno», Verve subirà una sospensione parziale dell'attività durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, pubblicando numeri speciali di 40 pagine dedicati ai manoscritti medievali, principio che Tériade proseguì in seguito. Il primo numero propone su 114 pagine un'innovazione: fotografie a tutta pagina stampate in eliotipia, poste allo stesso livello delle riproduzioni di opere di pittori. Book.
