Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Limited Edition of 2000 copies, this copy No.875. Slim softcover 4to with 16 Fold-out pages printed on both sides housed in baby blue felt folio case with pink ribbon tie, the magazine itself is unpaginated with many fold out pages, beautifully designed and illustrated throughout in colour and b/w. Blurb for this lovely production "For 15 CINDERELLA, we imagined we were making a film and asked each of the various directors (contributing artists) to shoot a scene. Raymond Meier portrays Cinderella's ride to the castle and the magical moment when the glass shoe fits. Mats Gustafson transforms the pumpkin into a Rolls Royce. Our fairy godmother is played by legendary fashion editor Polly Mellen in one scene and by legendary drag queen DJ Lady Bunny in another. The one constant is the shoe, a vintage Roger Vivier for Christian Dior from the archives of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Even Glenn O'Brien, who contributes the text, did not see any of the visuals and was only briefed on various segments of the story". Also inserted "His" & "Hers" illustrated subscription slips and limitation slip. The folio case is in good condition with a little rubbing to edges although it is a little grubby and discoloured. The magazine itself is in very good+ condition with small crease and rubbing to front cover. A very nice copy of this quarterly publication. Scarce.

Softcover. Condition: Sehr gut. 1. Auflage. Z : 360 Seiten/pp., illustrated throughout - The street as a stage or site of creative action has acquired its own special role in art history: think of Jean-Michel Basquiat, whose work stemmed directly from street culture, or Mark Jenkins irritating pedestrians with his subtle infiltration of human-like sculptures, or the participatory installations of Kader Attia. Each of the 30 artists contributing to this bilingual German-English volume has found ways to weave art strategies into the fabric of street culture. Street and Studio focuses on the street as a zone of creativity, and as a source of inspiration to young artists whose lives and art are marked by an urban and mobile lifestyle.
