Hardcover. First edition. SIGNED. Slim quarto [27 cm] Blue cloth lettered and pictorially stamped in silver and gilt. Near fine condition. Very minor wear to the spine ends and corners of the covers. Signed by Jon Kuhn on the title page. "My first conversation with Jon was late in the day on September 11, 2001. After seeing hours of terror and destruction of unbelievable proportion on television, I needed a positive action. On that terrible day, 'Hope and Healing' was conceived. The piece is to be placed in the lobby of the Forsyth Regional Cancer Center. It is a gift from a group of very dedicated physicians- a group of oncologists for whom hope and healing are major parts of their every day work. It is our wish that this sculpture- the original creation of a talented mind and skilled hands- will inspire an atmosphere of hope and enable healing in body, mind, and spirit for all of those who see it." - Elms L.
