Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Text in French. 19 reproductions en couleurs et 9 planches dans le texte. Collection "Iris". Approximately 75 years old (ND), this book is in remarkable condition. I didn't see any soiling at all. Spotless. Nor did I see any markings, or writing, or creasing. Beautiful full-page reproductions, color and b&w, a few smaller tipped-in, including a frontispiece. All are in exceptional condition. The Un-clipped dust jacket, which is attached to the cardboard front cover, has held up rather well. As you can see from the photographs (note that the book is larger than the scanner) there is a small tear at the top edge of the front cover. That is also the case at the bottom edge of the rear cover. There's also a tiny bit of curling at the edges, and some darkening of the paper at the margins. The front cover paste-on is in perfect condition. This book came from the estate of Elizabeth H. Jones who was for twenty-two years the head conservator at the Harvard art museums. Her name is not in the book.…
