Internals are very good, profusely illustrated with more than 100 black & white photographs taken at California racetracks that illustrate the owning, breeding and competing of thoroughbreds in racings' heyday. The suits, the dresses, the hats, or the guys in regular or working togs standing in the infield. All were welcome and many went. Really takes you back.
