Breeding Agriculture Country-Life Pursuits is number six hundred and forty eight of one thousand and is collated complete with twelve photogravures and many other vignette illustrations. Modern Commerce Transport Motoring and Aviation is number seven hundred and fifty of one thousand and is collated complete with fifteen photogravures and many other vignette illustrations. Folio. Bound in the original publisher's morocco with gilt detail to the spine and boards. Modern Commerce Transport Motoring and Aviation was published in conjunction with the British newspaper 'Sporting Life', a twice-weekly, and then daily, periodical, best known for its coverage of horse and greyhound racing. The publication later went on to merge with the popular magazine Racing Post. In this comprehensive work, the work addresses pioneers in the fields of transport, motoring and aviation with reference to some of the notable achievements in the respective fields. Externally very smart, with slight rubbing, slightly heavier to the head and tail of the spine and the rear joint of Modern Commerce Transport Motoring and Aviation. The occasional mark to the boards, slightly heavier to the rear boards of both volumes. Slight fading to the spine of both volumes. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just some marginal age toning to the extremities and the occasional spot, slightly heavier to the first and last few pages and the fore edge. Very Good Indeed.
