Beginning in 1910 William Preston "Bill" Mayfield (1896-1974) flew with and photographed the Wright Brothers. Over sixty years and 100,000 pi…ctures later he was still roaming the skies. His big view cameras captured the changing street scenes, the fashions of the time and industrial America. He recorded history as it was being made, capturing on glass plates and film some of this century's most famous faces and events. This 128 page (8.5"x10.5") book divided into five portfolios contains over 120 images from his photographic legacy.
