This collection of traditional Yoruba recipes is a standard reference work, including a wide variety of recipes and modern conversions of weights and measures. It was compiled by J. A. Mars and E. M. Tooleyo. This work contains Ewa, Akara, and Ekuru methods for beans; different uses for eggs; 'invalid dishes' such as arrowroot gruel; breads and cakes such as palm wine bread and rock buns; different methods for cooking chicken; sweet dishes such as banana fritters and coconut ice; and much more. In the publisher's original pictorial paper wraps. Externally, very smart and bright, with just a little sunning to the rear of the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
