This book offers a comprehensive study of the history of the preaching profession in Italy, within the context of Jewish religious practice, from its origins to the present day. The author examines the reasons for the decline of preaching in the Italian Jewish community and proposes ways to restore it to its former glory. The book also includes a collection of previously unpublished sermons by some of the most renowned Jewish preachers in Italian history. The author argues that preaching is an essential part of Jewish religious practice and that its decline has had a negative impact on the community. He calls for a revival of preaching in Italy and offers practical advice on how to do so. The book includes historical and theological insights into the role of preaching in the Jewish tradition. It also provides detailed biographies of some of the most famous Jewish preachers in Italian history. This book is a valuable resource for anyone who is interested in the history of the Jewish community in Italy or for those looking for a deeper understanding of the role of preaching in the Jewish tradition. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
