Esto es tan cierto que, aunque ligados al corporativismo de asociación, la mayoría de los representantes del catolicismo social prefirió emplear la expresión más neutra de organización profesional, la cual no implica un sistema concreto. Los autores del libro demuestran todo lo contrario. Antiguo colaborador directo de Giorgio Almirante, el líder del MSI en los años 1970-1980, y cofundador del Instituto de estudios corporativistas en Roma, Massimo Magliaro opone con facilidad la ideología (sistema de pensamiento cerrado y utópico) a la doctrina (sistema abierto de valores encarnados en una comunidad de sentido).
