A controversial work published in the context opf psychoanalytic controversies about childhood sexuality etc., the authour's identity remains controversial although is commonly claimed to be Grete Lainer, an associate of pioneer psychoanalyst Hermine Hug-Helmuth (who was murdered, but that's another story.).
