The book is bound in the rare original boards with the original paper spine title label, the book has been neatly rebacked retaining most of the original spine, just under 10 inches tall, 544 pages, the illustrations are generally in a small panorama format in the middle of the page, the book has been neatly recased as mentioned, some general wear and darkening to covers as seen, internally some foxing to the edges of the plates, noticeable staining to some of the pages, and other occasional foxing marks else overall contents in good condition A GENERALLY NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS BEAUTIFULLY PRODUCED BOOK RETELLING STORIES ARTHURIAN LEGEND.
