Ecken und Kanten sind etwas bestoßen, die Deckel leicht beschabt, unterer Rücken mit den Spuren eines entfernten Etiketts, der Buchblock ist nahezu vom Einband gelöst. LXXX, 347 Seiten mit lithographiertem Titelblatt und Frontispiz sowie 2 ausfaltbaren genealogischen Tafeln. Das Titelblatt trägt den alten Stempel einer Marine-Flak-Schule nebst Signatur, das Vorsatzblatt einen blindgeprägten Stempel eines weiteren Vorbesitzers. Er war Mitbegründer des Vereins für niederdeutsche Sprachforschung u. Herausgeber diverser historischer Werke. 1884 erlangte er eine feste Anstellung als Stadtarchivar in Rostock (vgl.
