Vengono presentati i progetti del Pure Sign Design Lab, gruppo di giovani designer fiorentini che hanno svolto stage presso l'Assessorato alla Moda della Provincia di Firenze e che già sono inseriti nel sistema manifatturiero toscano. Pure Sign è un contenitore di idee e progetti innovativi che ha trovato nello show room Allegri a Milano (aprile 2007) una location ideale per esporre tematiche della creatività legate a valori aggiunti intangibili del prodotto e alla purezza delle forme della natura. Il laboratorio creativo sviluppa i quattro concetti cardine della propria strategia di azione: innovazione, design, territorio e comunicazione ovvero nuovi spunti creativi della contemporaneità capaci di reinterpretare tradizione e identità del genius loci. I lavori sono stati sviluppati in collaborazione con aziende toscane attive sul territorio, puntando a rintracciare un nuovo sincretismo tra atto creativo e qualità della vita, in un ambiente capace di suggestione e emozione, cercando di interpretare lifestyle contemporanei che ritrovano inusuali criteri di interazione e nuova consapevolezza verso la natura e l'habitat in cui si vive. Il design e la ricerca sul settore florovivaistico e sull'approccio bionico alla progettazione rappresentano un media fondamentale di tale ambito relazionale. Da questa tendenza deriva anche il ruolo che il prodotto può avere come "risarcimento affettivo", in un rapporto di fiducia con il mondo esterno. Lo spazio del sogno e dell'esperienza ludica acquistano nuovo protagonismo: il prodotto con forte carica emozionale, dai videogiochi ai prodotti culturali, fino ad oggetti per la casa o per la persona diventano partner sensoriali. Anche il concetto di relax nel consumo acquisisce una nuova centralità: la richiesta di serenità, confort, qualità del tempo e dello spazio trova conferma nel successo di progetti per la casa e per il corpo che si muovono nella direzione della "comodità eccellente", attraverso cui si rivelano nuovi codici di "prestigio intelligente". Rilegato. Condition: quasi ottimo. prima edizione. Il volume racconta in maniera ricca e dettagliata tutte le fasi della trasformazione di Barbie, la bambola più famosa del mondo da sempre icona indiscussa di stile e femminilità, in Caterina de' Medici con indosso l'abito, comprensivo di accessori, del suo matrimonio con Enrico…di Valois, avvenuto il 27 ottobre 1533. L'abito è stato confezionato contemporaneamente a grandezza naturale e in scala (ricordiamo che Barbie è grande solo 29,5 centimetri), con straordinaria accuratezza e abilità sartoriale, e presentato il 18 gennaio 2008 a Palazzo Medici Riccardi, in occasione di Pitti Bimbo. I vestiti e le calzature sono stati realizzati in velluto bianco cesellato con fondo di tela in argento, il tessuto prediletto nel XV secolo per la confezione di abiti importanti, mentre per i gioielli sono stati impiegati oro, perle e pietre preziose. Molte aziende hanno contribuito alla straordinaria trasformazione, compiendo ciascuna un piccolo capolavoro di alta sartoria o oreficeria: la Decobel di Montale (Pistoia) ha fornito la stoffa realizzata appositamente con tecniche manuali e digitali dalla pittrice Laura Armani. La Sartoria Teatrale Fiorentina di Massimo Poli ha realizzato l'abito in scala reale, partendo da un cartamodello e procedendo con la costruzione di bustino, gonna e maniche fino all'applicazione delle passamanerie e delle finiture. Il sarto Mauro Angiolini, specializzato in creazione di vestiti e restauro di bambole antiche ha invece realizzato l'abito in scala. Le scarpette sono state invece ricreate dal Calzaturificio Sacchi, dal 1829 specializzato in produzione di calzature di scena, mentre dei gioielli si è occupato il Laboratorio Orafo La Vena d'Oro. Le miniature di scarpe e gioielli sono state invece eseguite rispettivamente da Mauro Angiolini e dalla GM Microfusione di Giovanni Melozzi. Completano il volume un'ampia introduzione sulla simbologia di Barbie, la storia di Palazzo Medici Riccardi, la figura di Caterina de' Medici, la vita a corte e alcune curiosità di cosmesi nel Rinascimento. The volume explains, in a rich and detailed way, the transformation of Barbie, the most famous doll in the world and a lasting expression of style and timeless elegance, into Caterina de' Medici by means of the wedding dress she wore when she married Enrico di Valois on October 27, 1533. The dress was recently recreated in both life-size and a scale model (Barbie is only 29,5 cm) with extraordinary accuracy and couture skill; it was then presented on January 18th, 2008 at Palazzo Medici Riccardi on the occasion of the event "Pitti Bimbo". The volume comes complete with a large introduction on the symbolism of Barbie, the history of Palazzo Medici Riccardi and the figure of Caterina de' Medici, court life and other curiosities such as beauty treatements used during the Renaissance.
