    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Hardback. 8vo. pp 139. Original publisher's purple cloth, front cover and spine lettered in gilt. Spine slightly sunned, uniformly, but gilt lettering is still bright; slightest of rubbing to extremities in a few places. A bright and attractive copy. VG indeed. Uncommon. Ê George Clement Tryon (1871-1940) was a minister in a number of British Government Departments in the 1920s and 1930s. In the year following the publication of the book, in 1910, he became Member of Parliament for Brighton, holding the seat until 1940. In April 1940 be became Lord Tryon of Durnford and died a few months later. Ê.
