This is an early printing, with publisher's code L-Y (November 1924) for a book first published in August 1924. Uniformly bound in dark red cloth; light sunning/color fading to spines with slight fraying and wear at ends, light rubbing to boards, gilt stamping to front boards and spines still fairly bright but not vibrant. Gilt top edge; toning to deckle fore-edges. Some foxing and or toning to endpapers; foxing strongest on several initial and terminal leaves of both volumes but with scattered mostly light occurrences to interior leaves. Bindings are firm. Still an attractive very good- set. Please note that this set has an approximate shipping weight of 5 pounds (2.26 kg) and will require additional postage for any postal class other than domestic Media Mail.
