Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 78, [4] p. 48 cm (folio). Maps are mainly colour or partial colour. Contains: Wentworth County; 9 townships; 27 city and village plats, including 9 for City of Hamilton; 8 general maps. 3 maps supposed to be in back cover pocket are missing, as pocket is empty. Leather spine and corners with cloth boards. Covers and endpapers detached, corners and spine ends worn, spine cracking. Dampstains to cloth and pages. Some thumbing and soiling within. Townships are Ancaster, Barton, Beverly (North & South), Binbrook, East & West Flamboro, Glanford, Saltfleet. Towns and villages include Ancaster, Copetown, Dundas, Freelton, Stony Creek, Waterdown and others. General maps of Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, South America, World on Mercator's Projection, and Yukon. Missing are Manitoba, Maritimne Provinces, Ontario-Quebec. Includes Historical Sketch of the county, prepared by J. H. Smith, P. S. Inspector.
