Fifth edition. IV, (4), 212, (168) pp. + 3 engraved fold-out plates. Contemporary half calf with sprinkled boards, yellow tinted edges, spine (possibly rebacked at some point) with four raised bands and hand lettered title. Corners and boards slightly bumped and rubbed, free endpaper with owner's signature. Interior with some faint, occasional foxing, page 179 with horizontal tear across the page. One of the maps with ca 2 cm tear at margin, maps else fine. Pocket book containing informative chapters on a variety of topics, such as the geography of London, England and the rest of the world as well as chapters on arithmetics, geometry and numerous other diverse topics. Interior faultily paginated (there's a lacuna between pages 83 and 130) but the text is nonetheless complete.
