Hardcover, original khaki and green decorative cloth, 269 pp, illustrated with drawings + color map by H H Vail. Very good, no dustjacket. Corners bumped with a bit of cardboard exposed on lower corner of front board, spine moderately tanned with approximately 1/4 inch fraying at head and foot, some soil on cloth. Internally, previous owner's signature with rubber stamps on paste-down endpapers and lower edge of title page, upper corner of last two rear endpapers creased, paper lightly age yellowed, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked.
