Fioriture diffuse, anche fastidiose a tratti (comuni a tutti gli esemplari da noi visti); complessivamente ottimo esemplare ampio con barbe in elegante legatura moderna…mezza pelle verde con ricchissima decorazione oro al dorso di gusto romantico. Unica edizione di questa pregevole monografia del nobile, erudito e abate Gustavo Avogadro di Valdengo (1814-1847); autore di numerosi saggi storici di carattere locale. Il lavoro resta ancor oggi utile agli studiosi che intendono ricostruire le vicende storiche della strepitosa abbazia valsusina, le descrizioni sono non solo frutto della lettura delle fonti dei primi secoli della costruzione, ma si riferiscono anche agli aspetti architettonici e costruttivi. Non in LOZZI.
