Ueber den Grad dieser Lebhaftigkeit aber urteilen wir aus der Zahl karykinetischer Formen, die wir unter den eigenen Elementen der Drüsen vorfanden, da es sich aus FLEMMING's, PFITZBER's u. A. Studien ergiebt, dass bei höheren Tieren, mit einigen Ausnahmen die Zellenvermehrung auf dem Wege der Karyokinesis von Statten geht."
