The boards are discoloured and worn along the top and bottom edges and there is a spine lean. The front free endpaper has a patch of label residue near the top with some creasing around this. Tape marks to the front and rear pastedowns and there are strips of tape running along the hinges at the front and rear endpapers. The front pastedown has a small stamp and a small pen mark and the endpapers are browned and worn. Browning to the page edges. The pages are browned with stains in a few places and are a little worn but otherwise generally unmarked. The jacket has been cut down to fit inside a cover by about 3mm and it was also folded over at the top with this leaving a crease along the top edge. The spine has a one inch patch of red staining from a label. There are a few small stains to the rear panel. The rear flap has two one inch triangular pieces missing at the top where another small section has been torn off and reattached with tape and both flaps have patches of surface damage. The jacket is signed Banbora. First printing.
