Brown paper covered boards with white cloth gilt titled spine. Limited to 2500 copies. Appendix includes Wisconsin soldiers in the Vicksburg Campaign (Wm. Vilas) and Selected list of references (Myrtle Oakley). CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Light rubbing to edges and corner; spine darkened. Interior is clean and tight. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: The author enlisted in the Union Army during the Civil War and was a captain in the 23rd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment and later lieutenant colonel of the regiment. Well done description from his personal observations. REFERENCES: Dornbusch Wisc #157.
