He was an actor, known for Happidrome (1943), Somewhere in Camp (1942)Happidrome is a 1943 British comedy film directed by Philip Brandon and starring Harry Korris, Robbie Vincent and Cecil Fredericks.It was a spin-off from the Happidrome BBC radio series which was popular at the time.This is David Bacon, the nephew of Max Bacon. Before becoming a character actor, Max Bacon was one of the most significant drummers in Britain during the 1920s and 30s. He wrote Max on "Swing" (1934). David was the proprietor of the Heywood Hill Bookstore in Mayfair, London, which still exists.
