His memoirs are full of cowboy stories, failures in ranching and farming, outlaws, hotel ownership, and living to the ripe old age of 91. Illustrated with black & white photos from the late-1800s to early 1900s, as well as reproductions of two paintings by Chester Loomis, including the cover portrait of John A. Loomis. A clean very presentable copy.

By the third year of the magazine they changed the numbering from volume 13 to volume 3, #9. A fine magazine of arts, stage, dance and music that bridged the gap between gay and straight readers in the 1970s-80s.
