Publisher has pasted in a new information paper over the rear of the title page. It claims the book was published in 1953 by arrangement with Thomas Y. Crowell Company through the Charles E. Tuttle Co in Tokyo. But the underneath information actually printed on the title page claims 1955. The white wraps on this book are somewhat soiled and there is an indentation where a large paperclip held the book for some time. The interior is unmarked and solid. RARE Size: 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. Book.

Both are new in original shrink wrap with retail price label from the Delaware Museum store still affixed. The catalog contains, in addition to numerous color illustrations, eight copies of Pyle's paintings on stiff paper housed in pocket at rear. A very collectible copy of this annotated and illustrated catalog, complete with accompanying checklist, new in original shrink wrap.
