Softcover. Condition: Very good+ condition. First edition. 1/500. Duodecimo (6 1/8 x 4 5/8"). 35 (2)pp. Original lithograph on cream string-bound stiff wraps with red lettering on cover. Frontispiece lithograph. Privately printed from the upcoming collection Nova Europa. Publication mocking the "Teutonic Sprawl." Dedicated to all compassionate fellow citizens. Collection of twenty-six acrid epigrams depicting the German invaders, their traits, their cruelty and the loathing of the Czech people towards them, including a good pinch of sarcasm. Includes quotes from German poets Erich Kästner and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and a few passages in German. "Self-Praise Stinks If the truth of this proverb did not fall into disrepair, The Germans would choke in a terrible stench." "Exemplary District (Mustergau; in German) Do you know the land where envy and stupidity blossoms? You don't know it? It's called Sudetenland." Laid in a printed obituary (8 1/2 x 6") with black border featuring a swastika at the top with Czech caption "Each balloon burst at some time. It floats and then bursts," followed by a stinging text oozing of sarcasm: "We are announcing to the general public all over the world and the surrounding villages that, due to an act of providence in real time, our dear, beloved, irreplaceable and unforgettable "Her Generosity" has left us." The flyer is signed Herrenvolk, Traitor-Collaborator, NSDAP., funeral institution of the Third Reich. Text in Czech. Sting lightly frayed at bottom with minor wear to pamphlet. Laid in obituary with quarter inch closed tear and minor chips along edges.
