Decorative Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Included. First Edition. The first volume only. Translated by Edward Fairfax Taylor. Edited, and with a preface, by Henry Reeve. 8vo, xx + 384pp. + 24pp. publisher's catalogue. Hardcover, bound in original red cloth with gilt title to spine and pictorial device to front board. Dark blue endpapers, page edges untrimmed. In very good condition. Binding and hinges are intact and firm; pages are clean and bright with no signs of prior ownership. Slight wear to extremities, board corners lightly bumped. Gilt remains sharp and bright. A very nice copy overall, now protected in a custom-made clear Acetate dustwrapper.

Nowell Batt, April 25, 1900 on front end pages. Text blocks are evenly toned. Free of markings throughout. Bindings tight and intact. Please see photos.
