The books are profusely illustrated throughout with numerous wood engravings and 15 full page illustration plates to Volume I and 25 full page plates to Volume II, all present and with tissue guards. There is like foxing to the pages but really for a book that is over 100 years old in very good condition. A tight blinding black endpapers with no cracking.
