This lovely 1961 poster printed by Tien Wah Press Ltd. in Singapore depicts a large map of the Malay Peninsula surrounded by flags and coat of arms of its various states. These include Jahore, Pahang, Negri Sembilan, Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Penang, Malacca, Perlis, Kelantan, and Trenggnu. A larger map and the coat of arms of Malaysia are included below the title. The map notes the area and population of each state as well as some topographical features including rivers. Singapore is also noted. A beautiful poster from the time when Malaysia's economy began to prosper. In good condition with some damage and repair near bottom center. Tape residue visible on recto where poster was torn. Repaired on verso. Minor edge wear.
