He was a famed British neurologist who wrote standard scientific works on the subject. In 1965 he attended at the deathbed of Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. Born in 1895, died in 1966. He was created Baronet in 1962 which would thus indicate the approx. date of the bookplate. Size - 4.75" by 5.75". Fully gummed on reverese. never mounted.
