This postcard shows a bucolic scene in Smith's Parish, Bermuda. A man rides on a horse-drawn cart headed down a dirt road. A quaint cottage is in the foreground. Smith's Parish is named after Sir Thomas Smith (also, Smythe; 1558-1625), an English aristocrat and investor. Smith's Parish is one of nine parishes in Bermuda and all of them are named after chief investors who backed the Somers Isles Company. Somers Isles was another name for Bermuda.

Overall, this is a solid, Near Very Good copy in a Good only, unclipped dust jacket, which has short losses at the spine ends, a 2" tear to the tail of the front hinge that crosses the spine, smaller chips to the corners with shorter tears to the edges and other hinges, heavy sunning and light spots of soiling to the spine, and slighter toning and smudging to the covers. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.
