Wells' universal histories of just about everything, to name but a few. Over the last 18 months we have argued the book into existence, exhausting, exhilarating and transforming ourselves in the process. From entropy to Zen, metabolism to PSI, we chased metaphors and cross-references, fought over definitions, and had our preconceptions exploded.
