In 351 pages + Index in rear, this small hardcover ((5" x 7.5) has brown cloth-covered boards, elaborately decorated & lettered in black to front & spine. Condition is Poor: reading copy only! The stories are all there & the illustrations are lovely, but the exterior is in sad shape: rear board completely detached, heavy rubbing & fraying, soil & spotting. Author's name spelled wrong to front. Interior is generally clean, with many scattered smudge & small stains throughout, but no writing or underlining! No date, but OCLC estimates 1887.
