Large octavo, 30 issues, early issues offset from typewritten copy, later issues typeset, pictorial wrappers or self wrappers, stapled. All published. Ganley edited WEIRDBOOK, one of the leading small press weird fiction magazines, for nearly 30 years, winning two World Fantasy Awards for his efforts. The final issue of WEIRDBOOK was combined with the final issue of WHISPERS, edited by Stuart David Schiff. There was a re-launch of WEIRDBOOK in 2015, continuing with number 31 edited by Doug Draa, published by Wildside Press as a POD. Parnell, Monthly Terrors, pp. 242-245. Tymn and Ashley (eds), Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Weird Fiction Magazines, pp. 738-740. A fine set. Accompanied by a fine copy (in dust jacket) of the uncommon hardbound issue of number 30 which is signed by editor Ganley and cover artist Stephen E. Fabian, several supplements to early issues of WEIRDBOOK, and the one-shot TOADSTOOL WINE, a sampler of fantasy and horror from six independent magazines (including WEIRDBOOK), edited and published by Ganley. (#174420).
