Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for a F/O address on the front pastedown. Book Condition: Good +; scattered paint speckles on the front board; puncture marks at tail of spine. No DJ. Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the front board. Presentation page is filled out to a soldier by the author. Frontispiece photo with tissue guard of MAJ Hart. 111 pp 8vo. This book was written by MAJ Hart's father and it covers his childhood, school years, time at Kansas State, his ROTC, and his joining the Army when WWII broke out. He was married in 1942 and in February 1943 he was killed in an airplane accident while on a mission for the War Intelligence Division in Washington, DC where he was assigned. This book is a glowing tribute to a departed son. A clean very presentable copy.

Edges show edge wear esp. at spine, and a frayed mark on front next to corner. Could not find a publishing date in book. 0.

Pamphlet. Condition: Very Good -. Prayers re-printed from church bulletins 1917-1918. Interior foxed with some light child's scribbling in pencil to endsheets and one text page. One page protrudes slightly. Covers show modest wear/soiling. Full refund if not satisfied.

Condition: Good. 1958. 1958 Reprint. 596 pages. Blue jacket over blue cloth. Pages are clean and bright, and appear almost good as new. With minimal tanning throughout. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Slight forward lean to text block. Boards are slightly bowed. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss. Moderate tanning to spine and edges.

Leather Bound. Condition: Good -. No Jacket. Brown leather is worn at edges with cardboard showing. Endpapers have ink writing and pencil scribbling. Edges of pages are heavily tanned with foxing. Title page has owner's name at top with foxed and tanned tissue guard and foxed, tanned and water stained frontis. This is volume one of two volumes.
