The story covers planning to set up a Fifth Column in England, contacts with the IRA, the first spies parachuted in Britain, attempts to infiltate the ranks of the British Army , general backgroud to German espionage and sabotage intentions and those sent fort to carry it out. While much has been written about Allied spies in Occupied Europe, there is comparatively little on the Axis side. 320 pages, 20 b/w photos including frontis of von Lahousen. Orange hard covers VG with small bump top edge near spine, which is sunned with dulled titles, bumped top corner, tiny ink name top corner front pastedown, faint impression from erased name top FFEP, text block otherwise excellent.
