Hardcover. Condition: Very good. Quarto, 162pp. The final 14 pages are inserted in the wrong order, but they are all present. A specially bound photo-reproduced volume of neatly handwritten scores, consisting of the arrangements of the most common songs of this storied Yale a cappella group's repertory. Musty, otherwise very goo…d in the original gilt-stamped navy cloth, wit age-toning and rubbing to the edges. Mustiness aside, the contents are clean. The original owner's name is stamped lower right, and this volume was certainly not for sale. We note just two holdings in OCLC, at Yale and the Library of Congress. The one at Yale seems, however, to be the original manuscript. Certainly rare in commerce; an excellent volume of Whiffenpoofs history.
