In publisher's cloth with title in silver on the upper cover and the spine. Some rippling to the cloth at the top of boards; very faint evidence of moisture exposure along the top edge of the textblock and barely visible in the upper margin of the pages, otherwise only very minor shelf-rubbing to the binding; contents are clean. A collection of letters between Pettit Lieutenant of the Fluvanna Artillery and his wife. A careful presentation with notes and index. This is the second of a two volume collection, both are fairly uncommon in commerce.
