Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good binding. Octavo. vii, [1], 141, [1] pp., frontis, plates. First edition. Signed and inscribed by Turner. In publisher's cloth with title in silver on the upper cover and the spine. Some rippling to the cloth at the top of boards; very faint evidence of moisture exposure along the top edge of the textblock and barely visible in the upper margin of the pages, otherwise only very minor shelf-rubbing to the binding; contents are clean. A collection of letters between Pettit Lieutenant of the Fluvanna Artillery and his wife. A careful presentation with notes and index. This is the second of a two volume collection, both are fairly uncommon in commerce.
