Clean, unmarked. 125 pp. with list of publisher's English classics at back. Julius Caesar was probably written about 1600; it is a a great pla…y to introduce Shakespeare to younger readers. Brutus was an honorable man; yet he conspired in his friend, Caesar's, death. What would compel an honorable man to take such an action? Shakespeare suggests that it is because he believes it to be for the good of Rome, because Caesar is too ambitious.
